And ... to continue where it stopped for a "minute of silence", and after the New Year wishes (which always make me half crestfallen) reached the time of year that I start to take new gas. Come New Year 2012 pro.
Christmas delight in the house of mana, took the bag, the gourd, and bikini straight to the beach ...
Which still had the presence of Christmas, with a pobleminha scale, but when Rena moves, detail thus unnoticeable.
Had walks with ice cream for dessert ... Too lazy to take my shoes and dirty foot, crying With you out of the water and back to pavement.
Had youre sea, always the same view, but it never ceases to be desired ...
Play had put his foot in the sand, without shame, without shoes, without socks!
Play had to paint, paste, dancing ...
Had to play ball ...
Had karaoke with her mother, sister, niece, nephew and everyone with the right to praise the audience and singing lessons is paying!
Had lighting that may one day serve as inspiration, with English seeing and realizing you do not do this Christmas "across the pond" as is done that way ...
Had botcha play table ...
Took advantage of the small child before are no longer small ...
... pussy and cutest, outgoing and starlet who already know the family.
Was playing dominoes with his nephew right having more fun putting the pieces back in the box, taking the box, putting the box ...
Had running to see live Samba, surprise, and collecting money in the hat ...
2012 was coming with lots of rain, lots of people, many fires and we sell a lot of VIP close.
Had supper with everyone dressed chic, table very chic, very comfortable party.
With much bladder, lots of smiles, lots of music, a lot of white ...
Had pool even with clouds, without much heat, but lol.
Had playing cards, one of my top 5!
Dinda had pie, and as the cook, priceless and incomparable!
Had psycho-dad-noel (mr.W dubbed as the accident) after nights of gale ...
Had a traffic monstruso back to Sampa, and the same day, the sun appears solving ...
Had tears coming to London. But less than they used to have. And easier to handle after Mr W presenteeou me to upgrade to business class and feet were put up.
Had come "home" to the typical climate in which I fell in love and got used. Grey, cold, warm, charming.
And with it, the "vanilla sky" seen from the window where normally I write!

Really missed it all ... But let's see if the blog engages second gear now and very soon arrive on the same day that the calendar is showing
And vam'bora pro cliché? The cliché of the new year is one of the strongest to resist, and even though the counter, I like the tradition of looking pro year now, and see what happened. But being against the good that I am, I love the holidays and I hate the new year.
So, going against what mom and dad taught me, I'll start by what I like first, review what happened. I think I like to be something I'm not booking anything, which I dealt, now. Surprises come and gone, good things, bad, happy and sad happened and ready, another chapter of life that is closed. And it's nice to see how I dealt with it all.
Beginning with the philosophy of the last year , remember that replaces the common goals of the new year, I think I succeeded. The idea was to avoid fights, nitpicking, discussions. Many times during 2012, took a deep breath, stopped fighting and stopped searching discussions. I confess that I distance myself from certain places (real and virtual) helped. Kind of nice people who want settled around me, I do well, and with whom there was a clash, were left sideways.
It was a hot year with trips again, to Paris, to the States, Iceland, France and several trips to weekend, do not walk, but preparing for the big event of 2014 . Even more tasty, had a mother and niece coming here, and we all going to Euro Disney.
Two thousand and twelve was a year that also saw how gorgeous babies born Angelo's friend Fernanda France , and P. Boy, my little one nephew. Bringing much happiness and hope in our lives! It was a year with a delightful surprise on my birthday, and a sad surprise to close the year. Loss of Grandma B. always be a butch in the year 2012. It was a year to run the job, through reformulations with piano lessons and singing, going to find nice girls for a jantinha goofing off, phoning gorgeous family and where little time left to squeeze the blog, twitter and facebook .
This lack of time has helped me a lot in my self-analysis, helped me pick out (again) who is friend, who is an exchange of ideas (positive or negative), who is nice to meet and chat, who cares about me - and to all of the above - and vice versa, how other people perceive me. That made a difference in my sanity and given me a better quality of life.
Always difficult to write a thousand wonders over a year when we have losses, so is the balance of a year we had happier days than sad, more good news than bad, and I can not whine too much about it right?
And how good the counter, I do not like New Year's. I love it when February arrives and the New Year is no longer new. When only the year.
New Year is a sign of the unknown for me. I know how good Pollyana should love all the good that the year would bring, but I've always been suspect through New Years. I have an anxiety to know the year will be good? Will be bad? Someone is going to die? Now, do not want anyone to go to this-or any other - year! Will be promoted? Will I be fired? I will win the Euromillions? I'll have a lot of stress? It will be quiet? My friends do not go away? Will I lose any friendship? I'll meet someone new?
I never remember being excited about the promise of the new year. So I do not have goals for the year. This year do not even want to have an idea or philosophy. But I'm going to focus on the ideas of 2011 which seems good to be the change we want in the world.
If you hit the lazy to go see the video post it there, see here!
I always thought I wish happy new year is half empty. No new year is just completely happy. Even if it's some mequetrefe that you close the lighthouse, will always have some moments of the year in which the snake will smoke and will have years that are going to be apathetic, that nothing much will happen. So I want a strong year for you.
Strong, for you have much health. Strong to protect you from any violence and any tragedy. Strong to if and when you have sad moments, nervous, anxious, negative, you have the strength to jump the obstacles. Mentally strong, and has the wisdom to recognize what makes you happy and enjoy those moments with joy, always!
And last week when life was starting to get back on track after so much good going to take a calm, half were caught by surprise with the departure of Grandma B. Mr. W's maternal grandmother, she had a stroke last week and was so at peace, after saying their goodbyes.
Mr.W and his mother are well, they always deal much better with games than I ever saw someone dealing in Brazil. There is a tranqülidade, an acknowledgment that she did not suffer, that he lived a good life, there is that feeling that took the best of her life, and that there were no regrets or disputes.
I cried, and I still have to keep the tears from rolling, but longing for that little pain in the chest that she will not be the most important day of our lives. I do have the feeling that I would have enjoyed their company more, have split over Christmas dinners, birthday, mothers day, more trips to the little farm (as we did when my mother and Mrs. G.) ... Grandma B. lived much of his life there in Cumbria, in the Lake. Hours and hours driving or on the train made us just go there once before she had been forced to move south pro this year after the charity cares for elderly shut the house in which he lived (that's where I took the photo of the post .) The change has given us more leverage its presence. I visited her whenever he could with the mother of Mr. W, if only to have some tea and eat some cookies. Last time we saw her conscious and talked, I refused to respond to goodbyes she insisted on giving us. I in my youthful ignorance, I tried to be positive by saying that she would still tell us many goodbyes and we wanted she would still present in our future pro.
The call that we should go to the hospital came two weeks after that visit, and only six weeks after we saw strong, healthy and happy. We got her in 10 minutes aware she confirmed knowing we were there, and even with a tinge of hope that she would recover, said my goodbye mental and asked her only to be spared any suffering on behalf of our selfishness.
Two days later, she departed. And on the day he died that things happened for skeptics would only coincidences.
Exactly at the time that it was, at 3:15 in the morning, our alarm started shooting without any explanation, which made us wake up and see what time it was. And it's not like the alarm fired every day in the middle of the night without explanation. What happened was that the battery from the over, and during the two years that use the system it never happened.
When the mother of Mr. W was reviewing the belongings of Grandma B., a short letter fell brochure guide for hiking in the area lakes. It was a statement that Grandma B. had written before moving pro South, saying that while she was mind-healthy, I would say that would not be maintained by appliances when the time came, he did not want to live or the daughter or the son, even though said or suggested that in the future. That was one thing that was bothering the mother of Mr. W, that culpazinha that could have done something better. And it was this little letter that brought peace.
And are these and other events in my life that make me believe that "there are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamed of our vain philosophy" and that's when I want to believe even more in what I believe.
Our farewell will be at the funeral and cremation next week. Here bureaucracy and culture means that long after we parted would happen in Brazil. But the gasp was great, and it is here on my blog bye, that would hardly be able to give aloud any day.
Go in peace Grandma B. Thank you for everything you gave us. Souvenirs, gifts, teachings. The smiles, the challenges, hugs and affection. I want to believe that when he said that will be in spirit with us in our future from now on, it is true. Old age you detested now over. I hope someday to meet you again, but even that is not true, that the energy that you left behind know how much she was loved and admired.
Ok, vam'bora put the blog in order. And as I'm against the same, I will begin at the end. For the first trip that has not been told how. E coincides with the Christmas atmosphere that has begun here on TV, in stores and supermarkets, for complete irritation of Mr. W. Beginning at the end, the end of last year, when we went to Brazil, to spend Christmas and New Year with a Brazilian family.
For those who do not know, I'm just going to Brazil for Christmas 2-3 years. The reasons are many, starting with the price of tickets, with the rush service (we always have to rotate holidays) and run year-end even in Brazil, which always leaves a shorter visit, however it lasts the same time.
And last year, we went, heading Brazilsão. First time mr.W spend Christmas in a tropical country and no threat of snow
The tour began with little party for my birthday daddy we were in rotation pizza Vienna . Again I felt part of the family history with the anniversary surrendered and the pizzas were a delight, definitely want to go back there next visit!
The next ride was made by Circuit Sao Paulo , took a mini-bus at the corner of St. Paul's most famous, and from there we went strolling by my beloved Sampa, all lit up for Christmas ...
First stop, Ibirapuera, with its giant Christmas tree,
and the Monument to the Flags, which was erected in honor of the pioneers, slaves and Indians. Incidentally, our guide said the deed of the monument has a condition that has to let people climb on top, hopefully forever keep so!
From there, we went to Lake Ibirapuera see the show of water, beautiful and we loved it! We got a super good place to watch, Dona G. even got a VIP colinho to sit and watch the box, and rolled up some tears!
And from there we went straight to Avenida Paulista, the snail's pace because the traffic was UO. Was full, but it was very worthwhile. Was safe, well organized and the lights on the buildings and scenery were phenomenal. Mr. W said that from that day he began to feel as if it were Christmas for him :)
Was one of the best buildings of Bradesco, who closed the ride. Incidentally, the tour was great, the guide was simpaticissimo, the driver excellent. The only problems were that the ride started super late because they were waiting for people who bought the package and did not arrive yet, and ended much later than they reported (due to traffic) and child, if we knew it would take, would have taken a bite!
And at home also had beautiful decor, this is the tree that my mother as super-superintendents mounted on condo ...
And Christmas is not Christmas without a nativity scene right? This one also mounted on the building!
Among décor and another had many games with his nephews L. and P. niece and goddaughter, Mrs. G., was one of the favorite games of clay, complete with wedding cake and sweet potato fries!
And also have to have meetings with friends, Fernanda France and LF. We went in May Pankeca & Co. have the diet cucuias purchases! Also saw C. but neither rolled fotito = (
And the trip had hits point to visit the class Braga City, filled by the best generals and kisses in the world, made by Tias and materials, 12 hands, cooking, wrapping and eating. Lots of love, lots of loud conversation and laughter that only they can provide it. Just missed some press mequetrefe that failed to go see me, you know who you are! = D In baraga city also met the newest beautiful cousin-nephew, son of AP press that I refuse to accept that already the mother. Gee it was one of the last in the ladder!
And the Christmas tree we built together, small but with a lot of affection for each loop, ball and ribbon
And the Santas of my mother, who loves the good old folks, to the joy of L., P. and Mrs. G.!
Even Santa Claus has juggler!
How good paulistanos we were strolling at the mall do a little basic, and how to resist the crib-sized?
And the bash was at his sister's house queridona, even gravidinha prepared everything beautiful, cozy and very Brazilian!
The gifts were the time of teaching and is very talented to only one sister, seriously right? =)
Had peanuts I just think in Brazil saucer santa. guess who that was?! =)
Had a feast over-Brazilian-impossible, prayer, present, hugs, kisses, fireworks, and a joy that only spend Christmas at home provides ...
But we also had snow! Just to remind the other house ;)
And had grape size that only thinks in Earth Brazilis ...
And the desserts typical of our Christmas. Fruits, milk pudding and bringadeirão microwave. (Just missed the ice cream with chocolate syrup Aunt J!)

And after that had a lot of beach, lots of rain, without much sun and without much areira, but with the same joy. Then I go back over counting
Here was putting the mountain of emails to answer in order, when I stumbled trying to tell my sister what I did over the weekend. Well now, I celebrate the November 5th! And of course, the inevitable question followed: "And what would be the November 5th?"
I remember having explained what the November 5 means here, but I think the post was the era of the so-candy, which eventually returns to the dust of the internet. So always good to explain here again, and is as a reference for those who meet in London just as 10 years ago I do not understand why so many fires of artifice in mid November!
And who better to explain than the BBC? All though she is not at his best today with accusations that he concealed the fact that one of their biggest TV presenters Child of the 70s and 80s were involved in pedophilia, and this is subject for another post, but the BBC is the producer of "Horrible Histories" (horror stories), a TV show that has interesting facts in the history of the world and Ingalterra. It is a program for children and teenagers, but we are fans here at home. The program uses humor and satire to teach history, and I think it should occupy space primetime!
So here is the explanation of what happened in 1605 with Guy Fawkes, is only two minutes and much better than I could or would have time to count!
And then it happened, began the tradition of the evening of November 5 (and the weekend before, the November 5th falls on a weekday), bursting fireworks. Why be cold and that if Parliament had exploded would have turned a fire, people, and some shows fireworks, make great fires, which in English is "bonfire". So forever, November 5 is known as Bonfire Nigh t, evening campfires. It is not clear whether a celebration that Guy failed in your plan, or because the plan existed and was a way to keep the protest against the royal family *.
The plan also Guy Fawkes was the inspiration for the movie V for Vendetta, one of my favorites and I mentioned the blog during the tragedy in Oslo and School of Rio de Janeiro.
But what everyone knows is Poem Remember Remember:
Remember remember the fifth of November Gunpowder, treason and plot. I see no reason why gunpowder, treason Should ever be forgot ..
Remember, remember From the November 5, Gunpowder, treason and frame I see no reason why Gunpowder and Treason Should be forgotten!
Families and friends come together to see fireworks in spaces open fields, and then reunited in home parties, making fire and cooking dishes this time, click here to see some (in English).
And that's what we did over the weekend! We sent to Southampton in the parental home of Mr. W and watched the fireworks show on the field behind the school where he attended primary Puruca eat the pig with white beans, leeks and fennel, with cake for dessert Buttenburg . The mother of James usually makes Bonfire Cake that looks like this one , but this year there was not time to do
* I, as a Socialist mequetrefe, celebrate the fact that planned to destroy the royal family who could not tolerate Catholics! What would celebrate if you lived in England?
The cliché that "time goes, time flies" is still true.
Neither realized that three months have passed and tralala no post here on the blog .
Beholder thinks that life is in the doldrums, but quite the contrary, the real life once again won the priority . Was the cause of my disappearance virtual life, one of the best birthdays of my life. Had visits from more-than-loved mother-niece and goddaughter of Brazil for two weeks had friends wedding in Germany, encounters with old and new friends, and of course had the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
As I am against the same, I will begin at the end. By Paralympics.
So hang in there, Jajá has more bullshit and that there, here.
One thing that people who do not live here always asks, is whether "also is / was / will be holiday there?" Unfortunately, most of the time, the answer is no. No, there's Carnival holiday, no holiday Holy Day, no holiday Independence Day (for obvious reasons right ) And so on.
Today is holiday and yesterday was not amended, but the holiday that we have in place is not called Labor Day, but "early May Bank Holiday," and is always the first Monday of May.
And what holidays we have then? Well, it starts by the fact that holiday here is the mobile medium. If that day falls on Friday or not Monday, they are keen to move on to the next week. Furthermore, the holidays will vary somewhat from country to country. Sometimes it is a holiday here in England, it is not in Northern Ireland (where they do not get a holiday, have to take on holiday!), Or Scotland, and vice versa. So if you want to know straight before planning travel or before complaining that his / ua Girlfriend / not answered emails, did not go on twitter or on messenger to talk to you and give a basic missing, look the official calendar of the UK herein .
Holiday here is called a Bank Holiday - Bank holiday, literally - and would be the financial holiday, the day that the bank employees will not work. Here most branches open Saturday, so maybe something to do with the fact (that would be up to the Holidays Public Holidays - public holiday, holidays that traditionally would not because the bank does not open, like Christmas for example - are nowadays called, erroneously Bank Holidays).
But in general, the holidays in England are usually:
New Year: January 1 (And if it falls on a weekend, is transferred to the following Monday)
Good Friday and Easter Monday (accompanies Good Friday in Brazil, but then add the Easter Monday rather than Sunday only)
Spring Bank Holiday: Usually the last Monday of May. - And usually my birthday . This year has been moved to the first Monday of June, as the holiday of Queen's Diamond Jubilee "in power" will be celebrated on Tuesday next. And how good Britons who do not agree with the royal family still be sucking financial resources, we will send it to France this year
Summer Holiday: Last Monday of August.
Christmas and Boxing Day: Typically 25 to December 26, but if one of the two or the two days fall on the weekend, are pushed to next Monday.
So these are just merrequinhas we have holidays. Seven days a year normally. Last year was the wedding of Wills and Kate and this year is the Jubilee of Beth, then have another lambujinha. But not complain much. I know that working days are important to the economy and a friend told me that in Brazil hardly more amendment, unless you take vacation, so I do not know how fares the "good life" in the land of rice bean
And speaking of work, and the work day, here is my contribution, like all socialist hypocrite and mequetrefe
Made in 1895 by Walter Crane illustrated English, this wreath in commemoration of Labor Day is still so current after 117!
Featured are the points he makes that I find most important in socidade today, which incidentally has been so calm, so accepting everything you say and you impose, but that's a topic for another post. Socialism means the most helpful and happy life for all: Socialism means úitl and happy life for all The commonwealth When wealth is common: A nation where wealth is Community Art and Empolyment for all: Art and employment for all Hope & Joy in Work in Leisure: Hope and Joy at Work in Leisure Emolation & Cooperation, not competition: Competition and Cooperation, not competition. Shorten Working Day & Lengthen Life: Working days shorter, longer life. England Should feed her own people: England should feed its people The land for the people: The land for the people Merrie England: England Happy .No people can be free while Dependant Their bread is:No one can be free while dependent to get his bread. Plogh The backbone is a better than the factory: The tractor is better than a pimple factory. No child toilers: Not working children Production for use, not for profit:Production for use, not profit Solidarity For Work: Solidarity for work The cause of labor is the hope of the world: The cause of labor is the hope of the world.
Makes sense does not it?
Happy Labor Day to you working man / that have vacation days, overtime pay, benefits and a decent salary thanks to socialists and trade unionists from past generations. Happy Labor Day to you that is not working, but who knows the importance of working more than anyone else, I hope your journey to the next job is short and useful. Happy Labor Day to you that choose not to work, that is based on OLLECTION sure your service done at home or in charity brings you peace, happiness and security needed to face a journey of psychological freedom, physical and spiritual.
Better late than never is my motto of travel accounts, and this was breaking the record. Our second trip to Italy was in August of last year, as a matter of duty in the service, work commitments and mr.W of the high season ended just after the summer holiday weekend, we went on Wednesday and came back on Sunday - after holiday.
The idea was to go to the Amalfi Coast, but prices do not coast were worth, and decided to go to Sorrento area, which was closer to Pompeii.
We left the plane (British Airways) London to Naples in the early morning of Friday. We arrived almost at lunchtime and we pick up the rental car. Lose ourselves to find where is that pro took the van where we would catch the car. The explanations were log off, confused and left the immense heat wick means short-already beginning. But lost in the middle of the two, we get the van, we went to get the car place, and once the air conditioning on, we were on the way to greater peace hotel.
We decided not to stop in Naples this time. We know that the city is huge, has many cool museums, and would need more time to do it right, so why not do half-assed and not disturb the rest of the tour, we went straight to Castellammare di Stabi, a village that sits between Pompeii and Sorrento.
We arrived, ordered lunch in the same quarter, we opened the windows (the air conditioning was not turned on yet), change clothes and went to balcony, enjoying the breeze and the view of Mount Vesuvius. Mr. W asked a spaghetti bolognese, I ordered a breaded chicken escalope with chips. There was wonderful but it was reasonable. Cakes and desserts were excellent and yes these were worth. After that, we rested in the suite and down to the pool to catch the tail end of the afternoon, watch the sunset which gave us all the days.
(Click photo for larger view)
Had a lot of reading, conversation, and this sunset balcony, we got an upgrade for free and in luck ;)
Had a buddy who was snooping around who were the visits ...
We had two sitting in muretinha to stay admiring this view. Looking for that pool? =)
And of course it was Mount Vesuvius, every day, every night, every time we were in the hotel, in the car or at Pompeii.
Had sunsets, sun ...
so beautiful it was hard ...
not take multiple pictures ...
and then do not know ...
which to choose ...
which to choose ...
spread around!
Urban was seen as inspiring as the natural

On the second day, we have already decided to go to Pompeii, to enjoy the wonderful day. Any tips told to go early, to avoid the crowds of tourists and take advantage of everything that has to show Pompeii. See Pompeii was one of my travel desires. I still remember the lessons of History and Professor Marina enchanting us with the events in impressing and fascinating how humans have faced so much in your journey. The feeling of being there, where before only been through photo books and watching documentaries on TV, I turn the tables back purchases Nook, ears up, listening and watching, making notes on the edges of the pages of the book cover brown to remember on race day - as needed. History lessons were of my favorite (and the subject still amazes me) remember on race day, it was easy. Reminded me of how I felt in Egypt a few years ago. This feeling chest being in another world, inside books, inside the TV. No wonder the human being in its magnitude, their victories and their defeats.
Arriving in Pompeii now we face with one of the amphitheatres,
There are 3 in total, one of which was recently renovated, and is used for concerts, plays and performances today again.
Most of the vegetation was replanted based on the original when the disaster happened.
This tree root seemed to be in the process of turning stone gaped when I saw oO
Was planting grapes for wine as well and where it was.
Had standing pomegranate remembering childhood, backyard Grandpa Paul, New Years in Bragança with the gang from the noise. * Miss *
Most homes were built around the garden with a tree in the middle. We realize that despite the heat exhausting, in the houses was always freshly baked and thought it had something to do.
And for a door so great?
Proof that our little feet went there as usual
In some places, the garden was a sort of "table" in the center ...
They also do not seem to have a lot of inhibitions. The bathtub to shower was close toilet pee and poop. Time of gossip!
Holy Postman! The two names street corner are the same!
The Forum of the city, and the main square where the trade occurred, market, doctor visits and where the city was more active.
And how not to see the state in which people who could not escape (the poorest, most) were found. Was this praying and crying for the inevitable end?
The first doormat. PERMANENT carpet on the sidewalk in front of the door of the mansion saying "Welcome," according to the guidebook
Pompeii today is a huge city surrounded still being studied and renewed. This view from top of the walls that surround it, you can see the imposing Vesuvius. Its proximity is still worrying as the next eruption past time, according to calculations of scientists.
And bind in time to bury, has all pomp (does that word come from Pompeii?) And circumstance. I remember I had an interesting story about this mausoleum, but I forgot the details, one day if I remember or see the program on the BBC again, I put here.
In many of the houses, some of the original decorations survived ...
The red, terracotta and yellow were predominant, with paint simulating the effects that nowadays are made with wallpaper or plaster ...
On the floor, the floor was also preserved
Inside that room seemed to have air conditioning despite the Sun lascante outside. Have to walk a lot to get to this end of town, but worth it. That's where we saw the most preserved sites.
Here it was seen a snake, painted on the wall that overlooks the street offered protection for the site.
Enrollment in a bar: You came, played, drank, now pay me!
And most snakes were scattered around

On the third day we went to Capri, and even took the van to Sorrento, but missed the ferry schedule. Mr.W was also quite bad the day before (much sun too long without eating within Pompeii), we decided to stroll through Sorrento same as it was also one of the things we plan to do. We walked almost the whole city, and about 3 hours we were back at the hotel. To descasarmos, read our books (it was when I finished " It was just a dream "), take advantage of the pool, the beach" private "and come to terms with life
Me and my fixtures. Love with the Italian again.
After descending the stairs, have to walk in the middle of the car, but at least has the right track? # Dangerous
And to go where the ferry takes to Isle of Capri, must come down this tiny bit of stairs ...
Down? Now have to climb!
Scooter had to say enough is enough. And there was more.
One of the narrow streets of Sorrento, which reminded me Bragança on every corner.
And had the Brazil flag on one of the bars which gives to walk or anchor the yacht particular. We were watching from a distance.
Church of Carmen out. With foot lemon (or lime?) In front. Purpose. The feet are lemon on all city streets where they fit and give the fruit well, for those who want to catch! :)
The Church of Carmen inside. Outside, a girl without nose asked alms. Ai this Christian world ...
In the middle of the city we unintentionally such planting lemon. Can enter, view, take pictures and at the end of the orchard has a shop that sells Limoncello. A lemon liqueur typical there.
And close the cornetinha peach
The Whelks all together
And I've never seen so many flowers in a region such as Sorrento, they invade the streets and everyone respects and diverts. Gorgeous
We took this photo of a bench in a spare when we stopped to rest a bit. After we got back from trip, looking at old photos of grandmother of Mr. W, who saw their grandparents took the same photos decades ago (except that it was in black and white). Loved the coincidence.
For those who do not want to take a walk, have a train that makes the most important points of the city. We did not take, because we like to go out aimlessly around, but it can be a good - especially with children!
The botanical garden was tiny but no less charming. It is then that leaves the elevator (paid) pro ferry port if you do not want / can use the stairs
Sorrento view the bus back to the hotel. Beautiful.
And back to the hotel beach ... It was only for guests, but kinda useless. The beaches in this part of the Italian coast are beautiful, but gravel and very difficult to use if it is to swim. Gave to take a sun and read some books, but quickly went to the pool!

On the fourth day we got up early and go to Capri. A beautiful island, but the 40 minute steep climb, with the Solzão nuzzles medium that did the charm is lost, unfortunately. I did not do the homework straight and left the minibus, taxi and lift the "convertible" that would take us to the top go hit - just found out I could have used them at the end of the ride. We thought the walk would be easy, but as the two are allergic to heat through, just a little spoiling the ride. I'm sure if restuarant risen transport would have been more leveraged. But the way to go to Capri, would be in the same style to tell the truth. Staying at one of the luxury hotels, the pool and air conditioning. Or, if you can even more, buy a weekend house in the neighborhood or anchor your yacht in the sea there, there has no error # Sarcastic On the way back we stopped for lunch in Sorrento and take the ice cream (which only Cornetto cone cookie) Italian Prache, and give the last lap in the city.
Look steep ascent that awaited us. Just that morning, had no shade there. So the suffering.
St Michael's church in the center of Capri ...
... Also where you can see another tower with clock ...
and the view up there with the boxes of Capri.
Capri is also known alleys with designer shops (still use that term?) And reminded me of Brighton, England, and I confess that although beautiful shops, took a little charm of the place. But I liked the shops and perfumes homemade limoncello.
Gardens of Augustus. You pay to get in but worth it. Not so much in the garden, but the view of ...
I Faraglioni ... and ...
Via Krupp ..., built between 1900 and 1902, was a connection to the architect / biologist from your luxury hotel, Hotel Quisisana, and Marina Piccola, where he anchored his boat surveys. But secretly, this path also led to the Grotta di Fra Felice, a cave where orgies with local youths allegedly happened. When the secret was discovered, Krupp was "asked" to leave Italy, in 1902. Since then, the route has remained closed due to the risk of collapse of stones.
And how do not like that shade of pink, even when you're not even a little fan color pink?

Monastery of San Giacomo in Capri. Today it is a museum of modern art, but it was a monastery. Quiet, quietly. Can you understand why it is located where it is.

And home in Capri has a name, why not?
Personnel not docked boat on the beach or stayed in a hotel with a pool and air conditioning (or has no storehouse) there, the beach was the entrance of Capri which is one of the few easily accessible. But not very pleasant, with the noise and pollution of ferries and cars passing by.
Look-convertible taxi and minibus that will take top pro Capri ... Just think back on when we were down ...
These carts are super common charge in Sorrento (like wasps!) Is usually a place only for the driver but but we got to see 3 people in the bank!
Back to Sorrento, we had lunch at Pizza Foreigners Club. Delight and very similar to that of Brazil. Given to kill the nostalgia!
And the view @ Foreigners Club in Sorrento, with the breeze coming from the sea, was one of the best we've had in restaurants.
Sedile Dominova, a little place where retirees today will chat, play dominoes, chess, and reading newspaper.
Il Campanile della Cattedrale Natale, a tower half hidden and full of charm.
Gelatto in Sorrento, with the right to "catch-ice-melting" and biscuit cone. And cone cookie.
Neapolitan cakes, cookie recalled a mass of rain and light and aerated, soaked in liquor, and cream filling, covered in icing sugar and a raspberry on the tip. Became my favorite dessert and ate about 5 times, just jumped the day they had not: P

Today officially begins the spring in the northern hemisphere, and includes up around my Earth Queen.
Spring arrives pro destestam pleasure of those who have to carry clothes to go out in the cold. Pro delight of those who have to get up early and face the morning frosts with little wind in the face. Pro pleasure who looks out the window and sees branquinhas clouds covering the sky and feel the depression of another day without sun comes spring pleasure pro who must drive in fog that makes everything look like a horror film, with the tone mysterious that only the UK can give you.
I'm not one of those people, I love the winter, and to be honest this winter until it was well mequetrefe beautiful days with clear blue skies, sunset and magnificent little snow (boo! ) But I'm suspicious, I love all the seasons of this little land. Including the spring, what the hell, of course!
Spring comes green fingers pros put themselves in action. It's time to prepare the gardens, renovate the seeds, care for who are sainda hibernation.
More importantly, it's time to take back the sun Time to produce vitamin D. Time to smile, because when you're sun, everybody's happy, there is despair by the Sun that British Boots (a drugstore chain here) described in its advertising summer better than any words could say:
Only one little problem. With spring comes the hayfever. Translated as "hay fever" is more an allergy to pollen. Pollen from flowers that come out everywhere at this time. Pollen is expelled through the trees, shrubs, and flowers that bloom simplesmentes the ground in Britain, as is the case of Daffodil . And sufferers pursue to the end the summer and the arrival of autumn in some cases, as is mine. And there is much more tots and gurias sufferers out there, including @ AleFerreira who asked remedies tips here to attack this irritation.
After almost 10 years in terrinha, I learned that only has like trying to protect from allergy. Every year we have a different symptom, since only sneezing and runny nose, loss of voice and even bouts of bronchitis.
But you try to minimize such symptoms, even if they do not give out all they
First, what are the symptoms of hayfever?
Seems a bit with sinusitis and rhinitis, to tell the truth. And it is not because you are allergic to Brazil is going to be here, I for one do not have pollen allergy in Brazil (there is more abrupt change of time), but I'm here. And I know who you are allergic there and not here. Question is lucky or unlucky it!
Attack of sneezing
Stuffy or runny nose
Itchy, red or itchy
Itchy throat, mouth, nose and ears
Less frequently, symptoms may include:
Loss of smell
Pain in the face
Sweat lodge
Headache
Attack of asthma / bronchitis
How to avoid?
1. The problem here is so severe, the weather service, delivers the intensity forecast Pollen also. If you are suffering, check before you leave home. If levels are high, and if you can not get out. Close the windows and keep enjoying the beautiful day inside until pollen levels lowering.
Some sites which usually show the rate of pollen waiting in the UK:
2. There are theories that eating local honey helps create antibodies against hayfever, since it is made with bees that would use local pollen to make honey. But I never thought to try local honey.
How to medicate?
Ok, before speaking to medicate without saying that you should NEVER self medicate. Here are the tips that work for me and I know it will not give me problem huh!
And you need not even go to the GP to ask the right remedy, you just go in the pharmacy (Boots, Superdrug, supermarkets or even as Asda, Tesco and Sainsburys) and ask for help on what would be best for you, but here is a short list of what may be used.
1.Hayfever and Allergy Relief Tablets
It is sold as normal or Non-Drowsy (that does not sleep), that comes with caffeine.
It also has the option to Day One (one per day) or Fast Relief that is a lower dosage would be administered every 4-6 hours, but that acts faster.
After testing dosages weaker, my choice in recent years is One-a-day Non-Drowsy. Buy generic same (brand pharmacy or supermarket), take before leaving home and I end up with only the remnants of sneezing.
Again, there are several conditions that can not take anti-histamine, so always check with your pharmacist if you can.
2.Nasal Spray
If you are only affected by sneezing and Dariz endupido, can go with the spray that should work and put less chemicals in your body.
3.Syrup (Syrup)
More for children or people with difficulty swallowing the capsules tablet has the same composition, but harder to carry in your purse for when the crisis appears out of nowhere.
4.Drops (Eye Drops)
I had to use one of these one year because the eye was terrible, but only buy when strong even attacks. If hayfever only affect you by making you tear up, that's your medicine!
3.Homeopathy and Herbs
Never tested but wanted. If someone does and it works, let me know: D
4.Cortisóide
Latter case and think here only sell for revenue, then you would have to go the same GP. It's for when you have passed the antihistamine, the famous Celestamine!

Vale also leave a little note, if you have shortness of breath here, call the ambulance (via 999) because it is a priority for them. After two years here, I did not know that, I perrengue during an attack of bronchitis in early morning house aimlessly. Shortness of breath is one of the things you get an ambulance outside the house quickly!
That's it! But that spring is grasped by all, I'll clog medicine and go around taking a tan hot guy with the hat and sunscreen!
The whole world is looking to sell to Brazil, everyone knows. But is that everyone is aware that Brazil has been a source of inspiration for advertisements in the "outside"? Our culture, scenery and music have been shown in UK homes for a while now!
